De Paulo has been designing gowns since he was a child. After graduating with a Masters in Architecture he decided to follow his passion. In 2006 he launched the self-titled label Michael De Paulo primarily focusing on evening wear. Since then, De Paulo has produced nine evening collections including his most recent for Spring ’11. His architectural background has influenced his bold and structured designs. Signatures of De Paulo include beading, sculptural elements, pleats and geometric details.


His work has been featured in various fashion publications such as Women’s Wear Daily among others. In addition, De Paulo has established a loyal cliental and his designs have graced the red carpet on several occasions including at The Emmy Awards.


De Paulo’s gowns are sold nationwide.
